My Unfair Lady
By: Kathryne Kennedy
Production Description
Price: $6.99

I like a rousing take of Pygmelion. A little make-over, to be followed by love and doused with touch of mystery. My Unfair Lady is about Summer Wine Lee’s quest to be accepted into New York society so she can wed the man she loves. The Duke of Monchester comes in handy with his impoverish state and his close friendship with the prince. Summer Wine thought that if she gets presented to the Queen of England, then the man she loves back in New York will finally marry her.

But love is a funny thing. Love and lust that is. I like Summer Wine’s spunk, creativity and strength. I enjoy The Duke’s journey to his awareness of love. This is one story I’d love to read more. I love it, and I bet if you have a chance to read, you’ll love it too. What worked for me with this book is Summer Wine Lee. I get her. So, whenever she feels bad, I feel bad. When her heart breaks, mine does, too. What more can a reader ask when reading romance?

Someone once told asked me if I ever get tired of reading the same story over and over again. She’s referring to my romance books which is scattered all over my house. I have two choices when I heard the question. I could get insulted, or I could try to answer it. In my opinion, only a person who do not read romance books can ask that. A romance reader would know that each story is unique. Even if they all end up happily ever after, it’s the journey to that HEA that makes it worth reading the romance.

Kathryne Kennedy will take you on a wonderful journey of make-over, love, and scorching romance.

I read romance to escape from everyday life.It is probably the same HEA, but the HEA is arrived at in a different way in each book.

I read romance because there is always a romance novel you can relate to, find hope in, or find the strength to move on after a bad relationship. Reading a romance novel is almost like being in a relationship for me. I find myself getting butterflies on the first date, and anxious for that first kiss and it most definitely isn’t it the same happily ever after. Each story is different because the characters, the plot, the obstacles are all different and that makes all the difference.

I read romance as an escape for a little while. I enjoy how creative each author can make the endings even though the main characters end up together – it’s how that is fun to read.

This look so very interesting! I read romance because it touches all my emotions and it’s life with a wonderful ending. Ups and downs, around and through the obstacles that life throws out there but love conquers all!

I read romance because it gives me a feeling of being in the story, like I am really seeing and living in the places I read about. No, I don’t think all happy endings are the same, and I never get tired of reading about them.

I read romance because I have no romance life at the moment. It is wonderful to feel like you are the woman in the novel getting blown off her feet by a handsome man. Each ending is different in it’s own way, and it’s interesting to see how the author sums up the story. Since each ending is happy, I never get tired of reading them.

I read romance because i am a romantic person married of 20 years however the romance part left as our kids were getting older and spending less time just the 2 of us, however i really don’t want to read a book unless it’s romance. referance to what you said earlier people are born and then they die arn’t we aware of our life ending? Isn’t it the journey that holds our interest? just a little example there. Sounds like a really interesting book would love to read it !! Message in a bottle i absolutely loved but hated the ending , left me heartbroke so there’s an example of why i like happy endings : )

I read romance because I believe stories really do have happy endings and I like to believe romance novels are stories which really have happened somewhere in this world.
Romance novels help me keep the faith that there is someone for everyone no matter how bad the situation may seem.
